Field Trips
Every day after our Rainforest Falls Day Camp program, we will embark on fun-filled field trips! If your camper is joining us on field trips this week, please send them with a packed lunch and full water bottle when you drop them off in the morning as we’ll eat lunch together before we leave on field trips!
Monday: Beach Day – All camp staff and campers walk together to Francis Beach where we will play games, build sand castles, and more beach fun on the sand in a coned off boundary. No camper will go near the ocean water at any time.
Tuesday: TBA
Wednesday: Movie Day – Movie will be watched on-site in our main sanctuary where we start and end every day at Rainforest Falls day camp. Popcorn will be provided to campers during the movie.
Thursday: TBA
Friday: Bouncy House Day – Bounce houses, jumpy slide, and an obstacle course at Mariners Church will be the fun field trip finale! You and your family are welcome to join your camper for the final day of fun at 2:00pm. We will provide snacks and water during the jumping and running around time as well. **Preschoolers and campers who did not register for field trips are invited to join us for our fun jumpy family finale!
Preschoolers
We’ve thoughtfully designed our preschool day camp program to match the needs of preschoolers and help them thrive in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment! To help our youngest campers feel comfortable, confident, and ready for an amazing experience, here at Rainforset Falls Day Camp, we ask that preschool campers are 3 years old by the start of camp, have previous preschool experience, are potty trained, and attend our half-day preschool program, which is designed especially for their age and energy level. If your child is about to enter into kindergarten in the Fall of 2026, we ask that your child still participate in the preschool program.
Scholarships
Camps are very important to our work with children and youth at Mariners Church. We believe that camps can help students grow deeper in faith, help establish a solid community while they grow in their faith, and serve as a way for students to get connected to our church. Plus, they are fun! We never want cost to be the reason a student cannot attend one of our camps or events. We are willing to partner with families to enable their child to attend any event and we want our scholarship funds to benefit as many students as possible. We anticipate that each family will be paying whatever they are reasonably able to afford. Our Scholarship request form is designed to help Mariners Church track how much scholarship money is being requested for each event.
