Hume Lake Summer Camp 2025
Our Hume Lake Summer 2025 trip has come and gone. It was a great experience for our youth. We hope you will consider joining us for summer camp 2026!
About the Hume Lake Summer Camp Retreat
Hume Lake is a unique experience for middle and high school students. Surrounded by the beauty of of the Sierra mountains, students explore their faith through high energy activities, clear gospel messages, corporate and devotional worship and fellowship with other Mariners youth. Hume Lake is known for exciting outdoor activities, energetic recreation, exceptional speakers, inspiring dramas and impactful worship. Middle school and high school students are in separate age-appropriate programs, under the supervision of the Mariners youth director and youth workers.
Hume Lake is a pretty far drive, so Mariners provides transportation to and from camp. Included in the fees are transportation, food, lodging, activities, counselors and a lot of fun!
CAMP DATES AND COST
- June 29th – July 5
(High School) - Camp fees are $1088 per camper.
- Please note that an online payment of $100 deposit is required to register.
- Registration will be open from March 12 – May 18
SENIORS
Super Seniors (those youth who will graduate in June 2025) are still able to be a part of the regular Hume Lake camp experience.
2025 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The registration process for Hume Lake 2025 is as follows:
- Registration is Open
- Summit your Scholarship Requests
- If your child needs a scholarship, they must complete a questionnaire.
- Payments can be made via the make online payment form –
- After all fees are paid, your child(ren) will be added to the Hume Lake roster and parents will receive an e-mail outlining next steps, including providing Hume Lake with information about your child, medical release forms, etc.
Camp fees for 2025 are $1088 per camper. This covers the cost of the camp, transportation & lodging for the adult leaders/counselors that will take a week of time from their normal activities to guide our youth at Hume Lake.
SCHOLARSHIPS
mcc|youth is happy to help with the financial needs of any youth wanting to go to camp. With that in mind, we have made the following changes so that the funds available can be stretched as far as possible. If you indicate a need for a partial or full scholarship on the registration form, please fill out the scholarship form linked above. Parents fill out the scholarship request form, indicating the amount of scholarship aid requested. Students fill out the student scholarship questionnaire.
Youth who receive funds will be expected to be an active participant in mcc|youth events before & after Hume Lake. They will also be expected to serve one shift with mcc|youth during the Pumpkin Fest Mac-n-Cheese booth in Half Moon Bay in October 2025.
Sunday, January 21st, 2024: Pastor Paul and a outstanding team of wonderful volunteers, led by Scott Holmes, will be leaving Sunday evening, January 21st, for Palo Alto, Mexico to work on the interior of our new partner church building! When they return home Saturday, January 27th, the building should be close to completion! Pastor Paul will give an update on the the trip during both services on the 27th!
December 11th, 2023: the construction is moving forward on the site of the coming church in Palo Alto, Aguascalientes! Palo Alto will be the home church to the five locations. A team of people led by Scott Holmes, including Pastor Paul, will be leaving January 21st to complete the building. Please mark your calendars to come to service January 21st to pray over our team!
Wednesday, January 24th - Our team is in Mexico this week putting the finishing touches on the Palo Alto church. As they continue to work faithfully to complete the church, we ask that you please keep them, and our partners in your prayers.
